The Royal Gardens of Buen Retiro were the best “good retreat” for Kings & Queens in previous centuries. Today the park is one of the most emblematic places in the city. Recently, UNESCO declared Buen Retiro as a World Heritage Site, an unique space of natural and cultural values, now known as Landscape of Light, Arts and Sciences.
